Submission of candidatures for the vacant positions of the Apimondia Executive Council

Dear Members,
We wish to remind you that, according to the Apimondia Statutes, the candidatures for the vacant positions of the Apimondia Executive Council that will undergo election at the next
Apimondia General Assembly during the 49th Apimondia Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark, must reach the
Apimondia General Secretariat at the following Email address: apimondia@mclink.it by 24 June 2025.
The positions due to expire are the following ones:
Vice-President of Apimondia (incumbent: Dr. Peter Kozmus, Slovenia),
Secretary-General of Apimondia (incumbent: Mr. Riccardo Jannoni-Sebastianini, Italy),
Chairperson of the Apimondia Scientific Commission on Beekeeping for Rural Development (incumbent: Ms. Megan Denver, USA),
Chairperson of the Apimondia Scientific Commission on Beekeeping Economy (incumbent: Dr. Norberto García, Argentina),
Chairperson of the Apimondia Scientific Commission on Pollination and Bee Flora (incumbent: Dr. Lucas Garibaldi, Argentina),
Chairperson of the Apimondia Regional Commission for Africa (incumbent: Mr. David Mukomana, Zimbabwe),
Chairperson of the Apimondia Regional Commission for Asia (incumbent: Dr. Orawan Duangphakdee, Thailand).
The candidatures must be submitted either by a Member Association of Apimondia (with its membership fees fully paid up) or a Member of the
Apimondia Executive Council and must include a presentation letter and a detailed and updated curriculum vitae of the candidate.
